David Trowler Associates is a professional forward thinking business that is committed to managing and developing the way we do business to ensure a better future for our staff, clients and the community alike.
We understand the need for accountability for the social, economic and environmental impact of our operations and our commitment is reflected through policies for the following:
We seek to achieve our environmental aims by implementing measures that reduce our carbon emissions, consumption of energy, fuels and water and production of waste. We monitor our energy consumption through the use of smart meters and have an agreed carbon reduction strategy that aims to reduce our emissions by 5% per annum.
David Trowler Associates are committed to rigorous professional and ethical standards. Honesty and integrity are paramount to our business and we abide by the rules of conduct of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
We aim to provide all our Clients with advice of the highest quality, excellent standards of service and outstanding long-term experience. We work closely with our clients to agree service delivery benchmarks and to regularly review performance.

We exercise a philosophy that is based on the provision of safe work places, safe work equipment, safe working procedures and qualified and experienced staff who are dedicated to safety.
We create opportunities for our staff to develop and to building a team that can continue to deliver successful innovative services to our Clients. This ensures we attract, motivate and retain the best talent. We have sponsored one staff member to undertake a BSc(Hons) degree course in Building Surveying and provide regular work experience opportunities for local schools.
David Trowler Associates is committed to provide equality regardless of age, sex, disability, colour, marital status, race, sexual orientation, nationality or ethnic or national origin. We adhere strictly to these policies and look to our employees to do likewise.
Supporting The Community & Good Causes
We recognise that others are less fortunate than ourselves and therefore encourage involvement in charity and make an annual financial commitment to support national and local charities and good causes.
In 2011 we donated an LCD TV to a primary school in Cheshire following a major refurbishment. For 2012 we provided donations to Dawpool Church of England Primary School, Wirral and Bryn Hedydd Primary School, Rhyl. Whilst in 2013 the chosen recipients for our support were:
- Wales Air Ambulance
- Marie Curie Cancer Care
- Dawpool Church of England Primary School, Wirral
- 64th Birkenhead Sea Scouts
In 2015 we provided sponsorship to both Cheshire Fire Cadets, for their Nepal School Building Project and Birkenhead School Parents Association, whilst in 2016 we supported The Wirral Chamber Rucksack Challenge through the donation of food, clothing and other supplies to help local homeless persons over Christmas.
Since 2015 we have been a member of Prohelp Wirral through which we offer support to community organisations through provision of professional advice on property related matters.
We also donate an extra £10 to our 'Good Causes Fund' for every client feedback questionnaire submitted by our Clients on completion of their projects.
